Carver Climbing Club

Frequently Asked Questions

I am still waiting for the confirmation email. How long should it take??
You should receive your confirmation Email immediately, but the system currently allows only 200 emails each day. We will increase that number if there is enough demand. Please check your SPAM folder first. Next you can choose the option "didn't receive confirmation instructions" on the Member Sign In page. If you still do not receive the confirmation Email within 24 hours, you can email the club directly to get your password.
What is the "membership renewal drive"
The membership drive has three primary goals: update the official membership list, provide more information to members through the website, and establish an easier way for members and the landowners to police Carver.
What can I do to help?
The best way to help ensure continued access to the Carver Bridge cliff area is to respect the owner’s wishes.
We must police the area when climbing and not bring guests that have not filled out a waiver or registered with the Carver Climbing Club. If you know non-members that climb at Carver, please ask them to respect the landowner’s rights and stop trespassing on their property.
Be respectful to all visitors, restaurant staff, and other members. If you are asked by someone if you are a member when climbing at Carver, please be courteous. The owners will not always identify themselves as such, and saying "screw you" or "I have a right to park here" does not bode well for access.
Most importantly, call out climbers when you see this type of behavior. If we do not intervene for the sake of the owners and/or staff, they will have no reason to continue allowing climbers access to the cliffs and boulders at Carver.
Why doesn’t the Club organize a day for trail maintenance or a crag cleanup?
The land-owner would prefer that trail maintenance and improvements be made be his chosen landscaping company. The club has an open invitation to help pay for any improvements that the owner wishes to make.
